29 CFR 1910.1200(h)(3)(ii): Employee training did not include the physical and health hazards of the chemicals in the work area:  a) Assembled Products, a unit of Jason, Inc., Buffalo Grove, IL- Employee Hazard Communication training did not include the physical and health hazards of the specific chemicals present in their work area that they may be exposed to, work with or handle, including but not limited to the propane gas used on the forklifts and the Rayco R-84017-43 phenolic thermosetting adhesive containing formaldehyde in  North  Assembly area.   In accordance with 29 CFR 1903.19(c), abatement certification is required for this violation (using the CERTIFICATION OF CORRECTIVE ACTION WORKSHEET).

29 CFR 1910.1200(h)(3)(iv):   The details of the hazard communication program developed by the employer, did not include an explanation of the labels received on shipped containers and the workplace labeling system used by their employer; the safety data sheet, including the order of information and how employee could obtain and use the appropriate hazard information:  a) Assembled Products, a unit of Jason, Inc., Buffalo Grove, IL- The employer had not provided the required training on the new labeling system and Safety Data Sheet (SDS) format in accordance with the Global Harmonization Standard by the due date of December 1, 2013.
