For a full eight hour work shift this exposure is equivalent to an average sound level of 88.3 dBA. Exposure calculations include a zero increment for the 34 minutes not sampled.  (b) Paint/Prep Area and Sanding Room: On or about December 5, 2013, employee(s) performing work duties in the paint/prep area and sanding room were exposed to continuous noise at a dose of 72.7% (8-Hour Time Weighted Average sound level of 85 dBA) during the 443 minute sampling period. For a full eight hour work shift this exposure is equivalent to an average sound level of 87.7 dBA. Exposure calculations include a zero increment for the 37 minutes not sampled.
