At the site - employees operating ground support equipment such as, but not limited to, Stewart & Stevenson 660 Tug belt loaders (A0444, A0446), Cochran Diesel belt loader (A0371), Clark Tugs (A0386, A0387, A0389), and pushback Curmax 2 and pushback (HT1976) were not provided with seatbelts. Violation observed on or about 12/2/13.

29 CFR 1910.212(a)(1): One or more methods of machine guarding was not provided to protect the operator and other employees in the machine area from hazards such as those created by point of operation, ingoing nip points, rotating parts, flying chips and sparks: a. Tarmac/ Ramp - employees were exposed to caught-in hazards, in that, the nip points on belt loaders were inadequately guarded. Some finger guards were missing and some not adjusted properly to prevent a caught-in hazard. Belt loaders included, but were not limited to, Cochran diesel Tug (A0371), WASP walk behind belt loader (A0612), and Stewart & Stevenson 660 Tugs (A0444, A0446). Violation observed on or about 12/09/13.
