CFR 1926.503(a)(1): The employer did not provide a training program for each employee who might be exposed to fall hazards: (a)Wyman Living History Ranch and Museum at 96450 East Highway 40, Craig, CO 81625: The employer did not ensure that each employee engaged in construction activities had been trained to recognize the hazards associated with working at elevations over 6'. The program shall enable each employee to recognize the hazards of falling and shall train each employee in the procedures to be followed in order to minimize these hazards. Employees working on-site had not received fall protection training before working at elevations over 6 feet. This condition exposed employees to the hazard of falling from an elevation of up to approximately 20 feet.

29 CFR 1926.501(b)(1): Each employee on a walking/working surface having an unprotected side or edge which was six feet (1.8m) or more above a lower level was not protected from falling by the use of a guardrail system, a safety net system, or personal fall arrest system: (a)Wyman Living History Ranch and Museum at 96450 East Highway 40, Craig, CO 81625; On November 19, 2013 the employer did not ensure each employee on a walking/working surface having an unprotected side or edge which was six feet (1.8m) or more above a lower level was protected from falling by the use of a guardrail system, a safety net system, or personal fall arrest system in that an employee was engaged in decking operations on the shop building without fall protection. This condition exposed the employees to a fall hazard of approximately 20 feet and resulted in an employee falling 7 feet.
