29 CFR 1910.305(g)(2)(iii): Flexible cords and cables were not connected to devices and fittings so that strain relief was provided that would prevent pull from being directly transmitted to joints or terminal screws: a) Shop Area, 26122 SR 11, Great Bend, PA - Employees operated the Hardinge Lathe Model GS-250 (Serial No. BLDA8F0025) with exposed conductors at the joint where the power cord attached to the machine. Employees were exposed to contact with an electrical current hazard, as observed on or about December 3, 2013. In accordance with 29 CFR 1903.19(c), abatement certification is not required for this violation. Abatement was observed during the inspection.
