29 CFR 1926.501(b)(1): Each employee on a walking/working surface with an unprotected side or edge which was 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above a lower level was not protected from falling by the use of guardrail systems, safety net systems, or personal fall arrest systems: a) Third level of Building 3: On or about December 4, 2013, the employer did not ensure a fall protection method was used while employees crossed over the breezeway on an available beam which exposed an employee to a fall of 30-feet to the ground below. b) Third level of Building 3: On or about December 4, 2013, the employer did not ensure a fall protection method was used while employees walked/worked from the top plates to install floor trusses which exposed employees to falls of 9-feet to the decked floor below and 30-feet to the ground below.
