29 CFR 1910.179(m)(1): A certification record which includes the date of inspection, the signature of the person who performed the inspection and an identifier for the ropes which were inspected were not being kept on file where readily available to appointed personnel. a) For the months of October 2013 and November 2013 the employer did not ensure that the monthly inspection of the forge crane ropes were documented with a certification record that included the date of the inspection and the signature of the employee who performed the inspection. b) For the months of October 2013 and November 2013 the employer did not ensure that the monthly inspection of the Midwest crane ropes were documented with a certification record that included the date of the inspection and the signature of the employee who performed the inspection. c) For the months of October 2013 and November 2013 the employer did not ensure that the monthly inspection of the G & B crane ropes were documented with a certification record that included the date of the inspection and the signature of the employee who performed the inspection.
