Section 4.1.2(b) of ANSI 01.1-1961, Safety Code for Woodworking Machinery:  Circular hand-fed rip saws were not equipped with a spreader to prevent material from squeezing the saw or being thrown back on the operator:    b) Exterior Front Sidewalk - A carpenter was observed using a DeWalt table saw, model number DW475, serial number 2009-42CT023596, to cut one half inch thick door trim and a spreader was not provided, on      or about  12/05/2013.    Section 3.1.3(c) of  ANSI 01.1-1961, Safety Code for Woodworking Machinery:  Provisions were not made to prevent wood-working machine(s) from automatically restarting upon restoration of power after power failure:     c) Exterior Front Sidewalk - A carpenter was observed using a DeWalt table saw, modell number DW475, serial number 2009-42CT023596, to cut a one half inch thick door trim and a magnetic restart switch was not provided, on or about 12/05/2013.    For the purposes of this inspection, this employer was determined to be the controlling and correcting employer of the jobsite. The employer is being cited under OSHA's Multi-Employer Workplace Policy.
