29 CFR 1926.602(c)(1)(vi): All industrial trucks did not meet the applicable requirements of design, construction, stability, inspection, testing, maintenance, and operation, as defined in American National Standards Institute B56.1-1969, Safety Standards for Powered Industrial Trucks: This violation was observed on or about December 3, 2013, when employees stood under the elevated portion of a Sky Trak, rough-terrain forklift truck. Among other methods, a feasible and acceptable to means to abatement this hazard includes but is not limited to complying with ANSI B56.1-1969 and/or ANSI/ITSDF B56.6-2011 which prohibits persons from standing or passing under the elevated portion of a forklift truck, whether empty or loaded.
