29 CFR 1910.22(a)(1): All places of employment, passageways, storerooms or service rooms were not kept clean and orderly or in a sanitary condition. Located at 163 Front Street, New York, NY On or about 12/5/2013 a) Front stairway where employees were working was litered with debris and other materials. Employees used the front stairway to carry and move furniture and other items between the 10th and 1st floors. NOTE: BECAUSE ABATEMENT OF THIS VIOLATION IS ALREADY DOCUMENTED IN THE CASEFILE, THE EMPLOYER NEED NOT SUBMIT CERTIFICATION NOR DOCUMENTATION OF ABATEMENT OF THIS VIOLATION AS NORMALLY REQUIRED BY 29 CFR 1903.19.

29 CFR 1910.37(b)(1): Each exit route was not adequately lighted so that an employee with normal vision can see along the exit route. Located at 163 Front Street, New York, NY On or about 12/5/2013 a) Front stairway was not provided with adequate lighting. Employees worked in front stairway moving furniture and other items from the 10th thru the 1st floors. The stairway and landings were dark and not provided with lighting. NOTE: BECAUSE ABATEMENT OF THIS VIOLATION IS ALREADY DOCUMENTED IN THE CASEFILE, THE EMPLOYER NEED NOT SUBMIT CERTIFICATION NOR DOCUMENTATION OF ABATEMENT OF THIS VIOLATION AS NORMALLY REQUIRED BY 29 CFR 1903.19.
