29 CFR 1903.19(d)(1): The employer did not submit to the Agency, along with the information on abatement certification required by paragraph (c)(3) of this section, documents demonstrating that abatement is complete for each willful or repeat violation and for any serious violation for which the Agency indicates in the citation that such abatement documentation is required: (a) Rookwood Pottery Company failed to provide documentation demonstrating the abatement methods and completion as cited in Citation 1 for hazards associated with: 1) employees voluntarily wearing 2-strap face piece respirators while sanding pottery and were not provided the information in Appendix D of the 29 CFR 1910.134 standard; and 2) no written respiratory protection program being developed and implemented for employees voluntarily wearing tight-fitting half-mask elastomeric respirators while dry sanding on pottery pieces.
