29 CFR 1926.405(a)(2)(ii)(I): Flexible cords and cables shall be protected from damage.   a) A sub-contractor's employee in the basement used an orange and black extension cord to power a reciprocating saw that had the main sheathing pulled away in multiple places, exposing the employee to electrical hazards, on or about 01/13/14.   b) A sub-contractor's employees on the first level usied an orange extension cord to power the circular saw that had the main sheathing pulled away in multiple places, exposing the employees to electrical hazards, on or about 01/13/14.   c) Sub-contractor's employees on the second level  used an orange and black extension cord to power a circular saw which had the main sheathing pulled away in multiple places, exposing the employees to electrical hazards, on or about 01/13/14.    For the purposes of this inspection, this employer was determined to be the controlling and correcting employer of the jobsite. The employer is being cited under OSHA's Multi-Employer Workplace Policy.   Abatement certification required within 10 days after abatement date. The certification shall include a statement that abatement is complete, date and method of abatement, and states employees and their representatives were informed of this abatement.
