29 CFR 1926.1053(b)(1): Portable ladders were used for access to an upper landing surface and the ladder side rails did not extend at least 3 feet (.9 m) above the upper landing surface to which the ladder was used to gain access: (a) Front side, new residential construction located at 284 Walnut Path SW, Marietta, GA 30064: The ladder provided to the lower roof was not secured to the structure and did not extend 3 feet above the working surface to allow for safe access on and off the roof. Employees accessing this ladder were exposed to falls of approximately 13-feet to the lower level.
