29 CFR 1926.404(f)(6): The path to ground from circuits, equipment, or enclosures was not permanent and continuous: (a) On December 12, 2013, at the jobsite located at NE Ernest Way & NE Isabel CT, Lees Summit, MO., Employees were exposed to serious injuires from electric shock hazards, in that employees involved in Residential Framing Activities were using portable power tools and equipment that did not have a ground pin on the power cords. Abatement certification for this violation is not required.

29 CFR 1926.501(b)(1): Each employee on a walking/working surface with an unprotected side or edge which was 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above a lower level was not protected from falling by the use of guardrail systems, safety net systems, or personal fall arrest systems. On December 12, 2013, at the jobsite located at NE Ernest Way & NE Isabel CT, Lees Summit, MO., Employees were exposed to serious fall hazards, in that employees involved in Residential Framing Activities were not wearing any Personal Fall Protection Equipment. As a result, the employees were exposed to fall distances from 10 feet up to approx. 24 feet to lower levels. Abatement certification for this violation is not required.
