Each employee on a steep roof with unprotected sides and edges 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above lower levels shall be protected from falling by guardrail systems with toeboards, safety net systems, or personal fall arrest systems: Building 1: On or about December 12, 2013 employees were exposed to a greater than 6 foot fall while installing metal roofing on a 6:12 pitch roof of a three story apartment complex under new construction.
