29 CFR 1910.132(d)(1): The employer did not assess the workplace to determine if hazards are present, or are likely to be present, which necessitate the use of personal protective equipment (PPE):  (a)  The employer had not performed a personal protective equipment hazard assessment for employees who mixed cleaning chemicals, such as bleach in water, to clean dog play areas and kennels several times a day.  In accordance with 29 CFR 1903.19(d), abatement certification is required for this violation (using the CERTIFICATION OF CORRECTIVE ACTION WORKSHEET)

29 CFR 1910.1200(e)(1): The employer did not develop, implement, and/or maintain at the workplace a written hazard communication program which describes how the criteria specified in 29 CFR 1910.1200(f), (g), and (h) will be met:  (a)  The employer did not develop a written hazard communication program which included SDS, labeling and training, for employees who handled cleaning chemicals, such as diluting bleach with water, to clean dog play areas and kennels several times a day.
