29 CFR 1910.177(f): The employer did not establish a safe operating procedure for servicing multi-piece rim wheels which contained, at a minimum, the elements listed in 29 CFR 1910.177(f)(1) through (11): (a) Parking Lot - On or about December 10, 2013, the employer did not establish procedures for servicing multi-piece rim wheels, specifically the employer did not require employees to re-inflate tire of a front-end loader within a restraining device, resulting in an employee being struck by the sudden release of air and experiencing a period of unconsciousness and time lost from work.

Abatement Note: The employer shall establish a safe operating procedure which include the elements listed in (g)(1) through (g)(12) of this section and assure that employees are instructed in and follow that procedure.
