Morrilton, Arkansas facility had welders exposing employees to eye injuries while welding without welding screens.

29 CFR 1910.305(h)(7): Splices. Portable cables may not be operated with splices unless the splices are of the permanent molded, vulcanized, or other approved type.  At or near the equipment test station #1 at the SEMCO, Inc., Morrilton, Arkansas facility, employee were exposed to electrical shock hazards from an electrical extension that used electrical components at all four test stations.

29 CFR 1910.1200(h)(3)(iv):   The details of the hazard communication program developed by the employer, did not include an explanation of the labels received on shipped containers and the workplace labeling system used by their employer; the safety data sheet, including the order of information and how employee could obtain and use the appropriate hazard information:  On or about December 17th, 2014 at the SEMCO, Inc. Morrilton, Arkansas facility the Hazardous Communication Program did not include training on the SDS format and the new label elements.
