29 CFR 1910.1200(h): Employees were not provided effective information and training as specified in 29 CFR 1910.1200(h)(1) and -2 on hazardous chemicals in their work area at the time of their initial assignment and whenever a new hazard was introduced in:    a) At Sun Precast Co., Inc., located at 4051 Ridge Road, Beaver Springs, PA 17812: In the Production Area, employees were exposed to a variety of chemicals, such as limestone, and were not effectively trained, on or about December 18, 2013.       In accordance with 29 CFR 1903.19 (c), abatement certification is required for this violation.

29 CFR 1910.134(c)(2)(i): Respirator users were not provided with the information contained in Appendix D to 29 CFR 1910.134 when the employer determined that any voluntary respirator use was permissible:  a) At Sun Precast Co., Inc. located at 4051 Ridge Road, Beaver, Springs, PA 17812: Employees were exposed to respiratory hazards (nuisance dust) when sanding wooden molds coated with polyester resin, and were not provided with appropriate training (Appendix D) on or about December 18, 2013.   In accordance with 29 CFR 1903.19 (c), abatement certification is required for this violation.
