29 CFR 1926.304(i)(1): Each circular hand-fed rip saw was not guarded by a hood which completely enclosed that portion of the saw blade above the table and that portion of the saw above the material being cut: 1) 315 N. 12th Street, Philadelphia, PA - The employees were operating a DeWalt portable table saw, Model # DW 745, Serial #201211-CT142365, which was without a hood to completely enclose the portion of the saw blade above the table thus exposing the employees to an amputation hazard. This violation was observed on or about November 14, 2013. Abatement certification required within 10 days after abatement date. The certification shall include a statement that abatement is complete, date and method of abatement, and states employees and their representatives were informed of this abatement.
