29 CFR 1926.403(e): All splices and joints and free ends of conductors were not covered with insulation equivalent to that of the conductors or with an insulating device designed for the purpose: a) Central Plant Fan Room; On or about 12/17/13, a temporary light assembly had two splices in its electrical cord: 1. The electrical cord had a splice joining two lights. 2. The electrical cord was spliced together with a plug attachment. The splices were wrapped with electrical tape that did not provide an adequate barrier to moisture or an insulation equivalent to that of the conductor.
