29 CFR 1910.178(a)(4): Modifications and additions which affect capacity and safe operation of powered industrial truck were performed by the employer without the manufacturer's prior written approval: (a) Establishment: On or about December 18, 2013, and at times prior thereto, the employer had a plow altered and used as an attachment for the Hyster 80, H80XL and did not have a data plate stamped and fitted by the manufacturer to display the operator the exact amount of weight it was lifting. Note: Abatement certification IS required for this item.
