29 CFR 1926.1000(b): Material handling equipment manufactured on or after September 1, 1972, was not equipped with rollover protective structure(s):     (a) HUB-Robeson Center, University Park Pennsylvania - The employer allowed the operator to use a Bobcat 323 compact excavator (serial number A9JZ11431) with the roll over protective structure removed, to excavate the elevator shaft pit and eight exploratory pits around the building support columns in the basement.  The operator was exposed to crushing injuries from the equipment roll over hazard from September 2013 through December 2013.     Abatement certification required within 10 days after abatement date.  The certification shall include a statement that abatement is complete, date and method of abatement, and states employees and their representatives were informed of this abatement.
