OSH ACT of 1970 Section (5)(a)(1): The employer did not furnish employment and a place of employment which were free from recognized hazards that were causing or likely to cause death or serious physical harm to employees a. Facility - On or about July 24, 2013, an employee worked at heights of 9 feet 7 inches from a wooden pallet which was supported by the forks of a powered industrial truck to complete masonry wall repairs. Adequate procedures were not implemented to prevent the employee from being exposed to hazards related to falls from elevated heights.
