29 CFR 1926.501(b)(13): Each employee engaged in residential construction activities 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above lower levels were not protected by guardrail systems, safety net system, or personal fall arrest system.   a)  Pickell Alley @ Main St., Manasquan, NJ:  Two Frank Morris Construction, Inc.,  employees were observed to be working on the third floor sheathed roof of a residential structure.  The workers were not protected by guardrails and were not using fall restraint, PFAS or any other form of fall protection and were thus exposed to fall hazards of greater than 27 feet from the walking working surface to the ground below.  Observed on or about 12/26/2013.   NOTE: IN ADDITION TO ABATEMENT CERTIFICATION, THE EMPLOYER IS REQUIRED TO SUBMIT ABATEMENT DOCUMENTATION FOR THIS ITEM. FAILURE TO COMPLY WILL RESULT IN AN ADDITIONAL PENALTY OF $1000.00 IN ACCORDANCE WITH 29 CFR 1903.19.
