Condition observed on or about 01/08/14.

29 CFR 1926.503(a)(1): The employer did not provide a training program for each employee potentially exposed to fall hazards to enable each employee to recognize the hazards of falling and the procedures to be followed in order to minimize these hazards: a- 551 Tarpon Avenue, Manasquan NJ: Employees, not supplied with fall protection, were exposed to fall hazards in excess of 25 feet to the ground surface below when laying plywood over existing plywood and other related activities from the edges of an unguarded deck. These employees had NOT received fall protection training. Condition observed on or about 01/08/14. NOTE: IN ADDITION TO ABATEMENT CERTIFICATION, THE EMPLOYER IS REQUIRED TO SUBMIT ABATEMENT DOCUMENTATION FOR THIS ITEM. FAILURE TO COMPLY WILL RESULT IN AN ADDITIONAL PENALTY OF $1000.00 IN ACCORDANCE WITH 29 CFR 1903.19.
