29 CFR 1903.19(d)(1): The employer did not submit to the Agency documents demonstrating that abatement is complete for each willful or repeat violation and for any serious violation for which the Agency indicates in the citation that such abatement documentation is required. a) The Employer failed to provide documentation and certification for abatement of Citation 1 item 1 in which employees are not supplied with fall protection, were exposed to fall hazards of approximately 17 feet 8 inches to the ground surface below when performing re-roofing activities on top of a commercial building's parapet and roof. Condition observed on or about 05/07/14.

29 CFR 1926.501(b)(1): Each employee on a walking/working surface with an unprotected side or edge which was 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above a lower level was not protected from falling by the use of guardrail systems, safety net systems, or personal fall arrest systems. a- 23 South Main Street, Medford NJ: Employees, not supplied with fall protection, were exposed to fall hazards of approximately 17 feet 8 inches to the ground surface below when performing re-roofing activities on top of a commercial building's parapet and roof. Condition observed on or about 01/09/14. NOTE: IN ADDITION TO ABATEMENT CERTIFICATION, THE EMPLOYER IS REQUIRED TO SUBMIT ABATEMENT DOCUMENTATION FOR THIS ITEM. FAILURE TO COMPLY WILL RESULT IN AN ADDITIONAL PENALTY OF $1000.00 IN ACCORDANCE WITH 29 CFR 1903.19.
