OSH ACT of 1970 Section (5)(a)(1): OSH ACT of 1970 Section 5(a)(1) of the Occupational Safety and Health Act of 1970: The employer did not furnish employment and a place of employment which was free from recognized hazards that were causing or likely to cause death or serious physical harm to employees in that employees were exposed to: fall hazards caused from trailers using the side doors during deliveries.   a. On or about 01/10/2014, multiple trailers - the use of a ladder to provide safe access to and from trailer side doors was not enforced, exposing the employees to a 4 feet 7 inches fall hazard.     b. On or about 01/10/2014, multiple trailers - employees were exposed to a 4 feet 7 inches fall hazard, in that, the non-skid surfacing was missing or was deteriorating inside the trailer side doors.

29 CFR 1910.37(a)(3): Exit route(s) were not kept free and unobstructed:  a. On or about 01/10/2014, at the warehouse - the exit stair on the rear of the warehouse was obstructed with a flatbed cart.    b. On or about 01/10/2014, outside the drivers room - the escape route stairs exiting the drivers room was blocked with the drivers personal carrying bags and belongings.
