29 CFR 1910.1200(e)(1): The employer did not develop, implement, and/or maintain at the workplace a written hazard communication program which describes how the criteria specified in 29 CFR 1910.1200(f), (g), and (h) will be met: (a) Chemical Room and Truck Wash Bay: There was no written hazard communication program for hazardous chemicals used by employees in the workplace for labels and other forms of warning, material safety data sheet, and how employee information and training will be met. Chemicals used at this facility include Citri-Brite which contains sulfuric acid and phosphoric acid which is corrosive; Brite Alume, which contains hydrofluoric acid and sulfuric acid which is corrosive, and Wheel Kleen which contains sodium metasilicate, which may cause skin irritation.
