29 CFR 1926.501(b)(13): Each employee(s) engaged in residential construction activities 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above lower levels were not protected by guardrail systems, safety net system, or personal fall arrest system, nor were employee(s) provided with an alternative fall protection measure under another provision of paragraph 1926.501 (b): (a) On or about January 10, 2014, Recovering Roofers, as a controlling employer, did not enforce the use of adequate fall protection for their subcontractor Renden Roofing. Renden Roofing employees were exposed to fall hazards in excess of 13 feet while installing a new roof at the residence of 1302 Lookout Springs Drive, Colorado Springs, CO 80921. Abatement Note: Abatement Certification and documentation are required for this item. (see Enclosed Certificate of Corrective Action worksheet)
