29 CFR 1910.1030(c)(1)(i): The employer having employee(s) with occupational exposure did not establish a written Exposure Control Plan designed to eliminate or minimize employee exposure:    Greater Atlanta Family Medicine, LLC - on or about January 8, 2014, when employees were exposed to human blood or other potentially infectious material during drawing of blood and disposing of sharps, the employer had not developed and implemented a written Exposure Control Plan.    In accordance with 29 CFR 1903.19(d), abatement certification is required for this violation (using the CERTIFICATION OF CORRECTIVE ACTION WORKSHEET), and in addition, documentation demonstrating that abatement is complete must be included with your certification. This documentation may include, but is not limited to, evidence of the purchase or repair of the equipment, photographic or video evidence of abatement, or other written records.

29 CFR 1910.1030(g)(2)(i): The employer did not ensure that each employee with occupational exposure participated in a training program:    Greater Atlanta Family Medicine, LLC - on or about January 8, 2014, when employees were exposed to human blood or other potentially infectious material during drawing of blood and disposing of sharps, the employer had not ensured that employees with occupational exposure were trained with the epidemiology and symptoms of bloodborne disease, modes of transmission, the Exposure Control Plan, recognition of tasks that may involve exposure, methods of reducing exposure, personal protective equipment, or other requirements of this section.    In accordance with 29 CFR 1903.19(d), abatement certification is required for this violation (using the CERTIFICATION OF CORRECTIVE ACTION WORKSHEET), and in addition, documentation demonstrating that abatement is complete must be included with your certification.
