29 CFR 1926.501(b)(1): Each employee on a walking/working surface with an unprotected side or edge which was 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above a lower level was not protected from falling by the use of guardrail systems, safety net systems, or personal fall arrest systems: a) 8055 Airline Highway, Baton Rouge, LA; On or about 1/15/2014, the employer did not ensure that employee(s) were provided and required to use adequate fall protection. An employee was observed installing stencil patterns to a building while standing on the edge of a roof. The employee was 9 feet 7 inches above the ground and was not wearing fall protection and was not protected by a guardrail system.
