29 CFR 1926.501(b)(14): The employer did not ensure that each employee working on, at, above, or near wall openings (including those with chutes attached) where the outside bottom edge of the wall opening was 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above lower levels and the inside bottom edge of the wall opening was less than 39 inches (1.0 m) above the walking/working surface, were not protected from falling by the use of a guardrail system, a safety net system, or a personal fall arrest system. a) 2nd floor window- Employee was caulking a window frame from the window sill with no fall protection and was exposed to a fall of approximately 16 ft from the 2nd story window frame opening; on or about 1/13/14.
