29 CFR 1910.28(a)(1): Scaffolds were not furnished and erected in accordance with this standard for persons engaged in work that cannot be done safely from the ground or from solid construction, except that ladders used for such work shall conform to 1910.25 and 1910.26: a) Two platforms being used for elevating employees and materials with fork lifts were not manufactured within the design requirements of ANSI B56.6a. The platforms were not designed to securely attach to the lift trucks and they did not provide guard rails on the open side of the platforms. ABATEMENT CERTIFICATION REQUIRED
