29 CFR 1910.133(a)(1): The employer did not ensure that each affected employee uses appropriate eye or face protection when exposed to eye or face hazards from flying particles, molten metal, liquid chemicals, acids or caustic liquids, chemical gases or vapors, or potentially injurious light radiation: (a) In the janitor's closet, on or about January 15, 2014 and at times prior to, the employer did not ensure personal protective equipment (protective eyewear) was worn by an employee who was opening containers of Horizon Springtime, Horizon Premier, Horizon Sanix, and Horizon Reflect and placing or removing tubing from the containers to allow access to other housekeeping staff resulting in a chemical hazard.
