Note: The employer is required to submit abatement certification for this item in accordance with 29 CFR 1903.19.

Workplace, 5-26 45th Avenue, Long Island City, NY-The employer did not provide training to their employees, which included the appropriate PPE required and the proper usage and maintenance of ballistic vests when exposed to the hazard of exacerbated injuries from being shot in the field during an armed robbery; on or about 1/17/14. NOTE: The employer is required to submit abatement certification for this item in accordance with 29 CFR 1903.19 Garda Cash Logistics was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard (1910.132(f)(1)). which was contained in OSHA inspection number 123192890, citation number 1, item number 1(b) and was affirmed as a final order on 9/16/11, with respect to a workplace located at 320 Avon St., Stratford, CT.
