29 CFR 1910.335(a)(1)(i): Employees working in areas where there were potential electrical hazards were not provided with electrical protective equipment that was appropriate for the specific parts of the body that needed to be protected and for the work being performed:  On or about January 22, 2014, the employer did not assure that employees who troubleshoot electrical equipment are provided with and use personal protective equipment to protect from electrical hazards.  A maintenance employee, using a multi-meter to troubleshoot an air compressor's 215 electrical system, was exposed to electrical shock and arc flash hazards in that insulated gloves with leather gloves, safety glasses, and a hard hat was not worn during the troubleshooting activities.
