29 CFR 1926.95(a): Protective equipment, including personal protective equipment for eyes, face, head, and extremities, protective clothing, respiratory devices, and protective shields and barriers, were not provided: (a) Grand County Roofing & Sheet Metal dba The Roofing Company, 28 Ten Mile Drive, Granby, CO 80446: On or before January 16, 2014, the employer did not provide employees with adequate hand protection while using Oakite Low Heat Cleaner 3. The employer was providing employees with latex gloves, where the Safety Data Sheet states "If potential for skin contact exits, wear neoprene or other chemical resistant gloves". This condition exposes employees to skin burns. Abatement Note: Abatement certification is required for this item (see enclosed "Certification of Corrective Action Worksheet").
