29 CFR 1926.501(b)(11): Each employee on a steep roof with unprotected sides and edges 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above lower levels was not protected from falling by guardrail systems with toeboards, safety net systems, or personal fall arrest systems. On or about January 21, 2014, on the south west side of the construction site, employees engaged in roofing activities on a 6:12 pitch roof worked without fall protection and were exposed to a fall hazard of approximately 8 feet.
