29 CFR 1926.102(a)(1): Eye and face protective equipment were not used when machines or operations presented potential eye or face injury from physical, chemical, or radiation agents. (a) Top of roof trusses, new residential construction located at 4851 Old Timber Ridge Road, Marietta, GA 30068: Employees were exposed to eye injuries while operating pneumatic Hitachi (Model NR83AB2) Framing Nail Guns without eye protection. The employees were not provided safety glasses while operating a pneumatic tool which fires 3-inch plastic collated nails at 120 PSI.

29 CFR 1926.451(g)(1): Employees on scaffolds more than 10 feet (3.1 m) above a lower level were not protected from falling to that lower level by fall protection established in paragraphs (g)(1)(i)-(vii) of this section: a) Top of roof trusses, new residential construction located at 4851 Old Timber Ridge, Marietta, GA 30068: Employee was exposed to falls of approximately 20-feet, 8-inches to the first floor while engaged in residential framing activities on a makeshift scaffold work platform made out of 2x4's with no fall protection system in place.
