29 CFR 1926.501(b)(1): Each employee on a walking/working surface with an unprotected side or edge which was 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above a lower level was not protected from falling by the use of guardrail systems, safety net systems, or personal fall arrest systems. On or about January 15, 2014, employees were exposed to fall hazards in that the employer did not ensure that employees installing trusses on a 5 in 12 pitch roof above 6 feet were protected from falling by a guardrail system, safety net system, or a personal fall arrest system.
