29 CFR 1926.405(g)(2)(iv): Strain relief. Flexible cords were not connected to devices and fittings so that strain relief is provided which will prevent pull from being directly transmitted to joints or terminal screws. North side the building structure; an employee used a yellow flexible cord without strain relief to power a Makita skill saw, model #5007F, serial #1148700, 120 volts, 15 amps, exposing employees to electrical hazards.
