29 CFR 1910.212(a)(1): One or more methods of machine guarding was not provided to protect the operator and other employees in the machine area from hazards such as those created by point of operation, ingoing nip points, rotating parts, flying chips and sparks: (a) On or about 1/23/14 - in the Machine Shop, the non-working portion of the HB 1016U horizontal band saw blade located to the right of the working portion was not guarded or enclosed. (b) On or about 1/23/14 - at the 3-inch Riser Mill, the cutter die press was not guarded on the operator's station-side of the die.
