OSH ACT of 1970 Section (5)(a)(1): Section 5(a)(1): The employer did not furnish employment and a place of employment which were free from recognized hazards that were causing or likely to cause death or serious physical harm to employees in that employees were exposed fire/explosion hazards: On or about January 29, 2014, Enbridge Pipelines (Texas Gathering) L.P. did not ensure that: a) The pipeline was free of hydrocarbon vapors before work began, b) The work area remained free of hydrocarbon vapors by atmospheric testing. These conditions exposed employees to fire/explosion hazards.
