29 CFR 1926.454(b): The employer did not have each employee who was involved in erecting, disassembling, moving, operating, repairing, maintaining, or inspecting a scaffold trained by a competent person to recognize any hazards associated with the work in question. (a) J&F Construction, Inc. on or about January 31, 2014, at the address of 1385 E. Main St. Bellevue, OH: The employer failed to ensure employees utilizing a Genie S-40 aerial lift were trained by a competent person to recognize and avoid hazards specifically associated with this type of scaffold, such as: inspection procedures and operating limitations.
