29 CFR 1910.151(c): Where the eyes or body of any person may be exposed to injurious corrosive materials, suitable facilities for quick drenching or flushing of the eyes and body were not provided within the work area for immediate emergency use: Laundry Area: Employees who work with, and handle, corrosive laundry chemicals did not have access to a suitable eyewash facility within immediate use in the event of a splash to the eyes.

29 CFR 1910.212(a)(1): One or more methods of machine guarding shall be provided to protect the operator and other employees in the machine area from hazards such as those created by point of operation, ingoing nip points, rotating parts, flying chips and sparks: Facility: Employees using a trash compactor are exposed to crushing and amputation hazards from the moving ram that compacts the debris. The unit does not have a guard covering the point of operation, nor does it have an adequate means of shutdown in the event an employee inadvertently places a hand or other body part in the point of operation.
