29 CFR 1926.501(b)(13): Each employee engaged in residential construction activities 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above lower levels was not protected by guardrail systems, safety net systems, personal fall arrest systems, or an alternative fall protection measure under another provision of paragraph 1926.501 (b), nor did the employer demonstrate that it is infeasible or creates a greater hazard to use these systems and develop and implement a fall protection plan which meets the requirements of paragraph (k) of section 1926.502: (a) Roof, new residential construction located on Lot #320 Glisten Avenue, Sandy Springs, GA 30328: Employee was exposed to fall hazards of approximately 19-feet, 7-inches to the lower level while engaged in framing and sheathing work on a 10/12 pitched roof with no fall protection system in place.

29 CFR 1926.503(a)(1): The employer did not provide a training program for each employee potentially exposed to fall hazards to enable each employee to recognize the hazards of falling and the procedures to be followed in order to minimize these hazards: (a) Roof, new residential construction located on Lot #320 Glisten Avenue, Sandy Springs, GA 30328: Employee working at heights of approximately 19-feet, 7-inches on a 10/12 pitched roof was exposed to falls as he was not provided with a fall protection system and was not aware a fall protection was needed. Employee was not trained to recognize a fall hazard existed or trained to follow procedures to minimize these hazards.
