29 CFR 1926.21(b)(2): The employer shall instruct each employee in the recognition and avoidance of unsafe conditions and the regulations applicable to his work environment to control or eliminate any hazards or other exposure to illness or injury. Jobsite: third floor, Building 5 Instance A: Floor opening measuring approximately 7 inches in their dimension were unprotected exposing employees to a fall hazard of approxmately 10 feet. Instance B: Wall stud spacing was too large allowing employees to potentially fall through them exposing employees to a fall hazard of approximately 10 feet.
