29 CFR 1926.20(b)(2):  The employer did not develop an accident prevention program that provided for frequent and regular inspections of the job sites, materials, and equipment, to be made by competent persons designated by the employer:    a)      On or about February 11, 2014, employees conducted mason work on the front of a residential home. The work area was covered by a plastic tarp and a Coleman LP heater was placed inside the tarped area. The area did not have a carbon monoxide monitor to track employee exposure to products of combustion from the LP heater.     ABATEMENT CERTIFICATION IS REQUIRED

29 CFR 1926.21(b)(2): The employer did not instruct each employee in the recognition and avoidance of unsafe conditions and the regulations applicable to his/her environment to control or eliminate any hazards or other exposure to illness or injury:     a)      On or about February 11, 2014, employees worked in an area that had the potential for carbon monoxide exposure.  Employees were not trained on the hazards of carbon monoxide or the use of a carbon monoxide monitor. The employees were performing mason work at a residential location in an enclosed area with an LP heater being used in the area.     ABATEMENT CERTIFICATION IS REQUIRED
