29 CFR 1910.23(c)(1): Every open-sided floor or platform 4 feet or more above adjacent floor or ground level shall be guarded by a standard railing (or the equivalent as specified in paragraph (e)(3) of this section) on all open sides except where there is entrance to a ramp, stairway, or fixed ladder: Drilling site located at SEC 33, TWP 33, R 6, 330 fsl, 660 fel, Anthony, KS 67003; employees accessing the mud tank platform were exposed to fall hazards of 8 1/2 feet from the working surface of the platform to the ground below. The provided guardrail had gaps on both sides of the stairs approximately 13 1/2 and 15 1/2 inches wide. Unit Drilling Company was previously cited for a Repeat violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 29 CFR 1910.23(c)(1), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 894481, citation number 2, item number 1 and was affirmed as a final order on 05/07/13, with respect to a workplace located at Unit Rig 304, 15 miles southwest of Canadian, Canadian, TX 79014
